BCG

The BCG vaccine (named after the two doctors who developed it - Bacillus Calmette-Guérin), is the vaccination against tuberculosis.

It can be offered to babies, children or adults who are considered likely to come into contact with someone with TB. A skin test is used first to test immunity as not everyone needs the vaccine.
